Our Mission
One of our missions here at, The Agency, is to give back to the community that we call home.
We are moved to tell you that for the month of May, we have chosen to partner with the WTX Food Bank.
Their mission: “WTFB exists to collect, purchase, and distribute food to feed the hungry in 19 counties in West Texas in partnership with volunteers and community organizations and to educate these partners and the public at large about the real face of hunger”
Their vision: “is a West Texas without hunger”
TAKE IT TO THE STREETS
We are honored to have a “Day of Giving” this month when our entire team will volunteer by partnering with the WTX Food Bank to provide a service in feeding our neighbors or helping with warehouse distribution. The local WTXFB serves 19 counties of West Texas – that is a huge responsibility! With all the resources that we have in Midland, people tend to forget that hunger is still crippling our community.
WTXFB has several programs to end hunger including Food 2 Kids, Summer Food Service & Senior Programs as well as a Disaster Response Mobile Pantry.
Monetary Donations are still the best way to support the food bank so that it allows them to have the cash on hand to purchase the things they will need in an immediate way. Every single dollar makes a difference!
